Biyanto R.

Biyanto is currently studying for a Master in Digital Humanities, Uppsala University, Sweden. Previously, he was working in Wikimedia Indonesia and worked a lot with the local language communities to build free and open knowledge projects for empowering the local languages. He has been contributing to Wikimedia projects, mainly Indonesian Wikipedia and Wikidata, since 2006. He is active in supporting digital literacy and open license and now is delving into the intricacies of digital data and digital humanities. In leisure time, he learns language as his hobby as he is an avid fan of language and linguistics.
